NXMH, a Belgium-based investment company, has acquired Bitstamp, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the European Union by volume, it was announced on Monday, October 29.
Several of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, including Bitstamp and Bittrex, has joined a Winlkevoss brothers’ initiative to create a self-regulatory organization in an effort to prevent fraud and manipulation in digital assets markets.
Bitcoin exchange Bitstamp has officially confirmed it signed an agreement with the government of Luxembourg, which would enable it to launch regulated and licensed services throughout all 28 nations of the European Union.
